Little Free Libraries are free book-sharing boxes located worldwide where community members are invited to take a book or share a book. All boxes are open 24/7 and sustained by local volunteers. By removing barriers that prevent access to books, Little Free Libraries strengthen communities by promoting literacy, inspiring readers of all ages, and offering a diverse collection of reading materials that are not limited by location or privilege. Learn more about the Little Free Libraries initiative.
Each JCPL StoryWalk also features a Little Free Library which the Friends of JCPL maintain with books for all ages. Everyone is welcome to use our Little Free Libraries.
If you would like to help stock Little Free Libraries at JCPL StoryWalks, volunteer with the Friends.
