Agatha Award -- honoring the best in traditional mystery

Caldecott Medal -- awarded annually by the American Library Association for the most distinguished American picture book published the previous year

Pulitzer Prize -- given to outstanding works by the Pulitzer Board

Pura Belpré Award -- awarded annually to a Latino/Latina writer and illustrator whose work best portrays, affirms, and celebrates the Latino cultural experience in an outstanding work of literature for children and youth

RITA Awards -- given to an outstanding work of romantic fiction by the Romance Writers of America
